Portable document file format was created by Adobe Systems in 1993 and today it constitutes the most widespread means of exchanging 2D documents among computer users. Originally portable document file was a proprietary format, but in the year of 2008 it was released as an open standard and was also published by the ISO (International organization for standardization). In addition to the function of demonstrating 2D info PDF format makes it possible to edit files, to copy the text to another document, to make a photosnap of any part of the PDF file, to print the PDF document and so on. But meanwhile, while creating the PDF file you have a possibility to limit or to prohibit the rights of editing to other users. Basically, it is even possible to block all the actions except for viewing the document. In this case you will be certain that nobody can copy information or print the shared PDF document. PDF format is widely used for electronic manuals, books, guides and tutorials.
