Music plays a significant role in our lives. It's a common knowledge that listening to favorite music can raise your spirits and fill you with energy. There are music genres catering for all tastes. Compositions of some of them are famous to us since childhood, others became well-known not so long ago. There are singers that have their own approach not just to their artistic works, but to their life on the whole. These singers generally become world-known stars and idols for millions of people. Amongst these famous artists is a 23-year-old American singer Mario. There is a widespread proverb that a talented man is talented in everything. It is absolutely true when it comes to Mario, whose full name is Mario Dewar Barret, R&B and pop singer, songwriter, actor, model and dancer. He originates from Maryland and was born on the 27th of August, 1986. He was brought up by his grandmother after the divorce of his parents. He was four years old when he decided that he would be a singer some day. He didn't give up on this dream and was able to fulfill it. His artistic career began in July 2002 when his debut album Mario was released. It was an instant success. The teenager immediately drew the attention of public. The next album Turning Point was released in two years. The album and its main single "Let Me Love You" caused a sensation. The song took the first place in the hit parades of the country for a couple of months. Apart from being a popular singer, Mario is a gifted actor and dancer. During his artistic career he acted in several films. One of these videos, "Step Up", issued on the 11th of August, 2006, is a dance-themed video. In this video Mario seized a possibility to show his wonderful dancing abilities. Mario is 23 years old, but he's amid the most popular artists in the USA. His new album is about to be released and his fans are looking forward to it.
